		<description>This article makes an interesting point. Electronic Health Records were successful in Denmark largely due to consumer demand. This same consumer demand is not the same in the United States; however, I think this is shifting. With the rise of patient portal and personal health record technology, consumers are becoming more accepting of technology in healthcare. I recently came across an interview that EHRtv did with Dan Pelino, GM of Healthcare and Life Sciences at IBM. IBM has been very involved in the transformation of Denmark&#039;s Health IT system, and Mr. Pelino discusses this involvement in the interview.</description>
